pickA lovely, quiet and beautiful book exploring, amongst more emotive matters, the minutiae (the rhythms, precise bodily gestures, and specific domestic locations) of the various stages of the creative process. I wasn't expecting it to be quite so "birdy": that was a nice surprise! This is a book I will surely and gladly return to, especially if I am needing a moment of calm.
