Pickpick

This book is great to incorporate with literature and history at the same time! Students always know that Washington was our first president, but what else do they know. With this biography (B) they can definitely find out who George Washington really was. Also, I would use this book to incorporate choral reading (CR) to monitor reading from students and to make sure they are paying attention.

DrSpalding You picked the perfect English learner strategy. Helpful resource that you would be able to use to integrate language arts and social studies content. You could use choral reading or this could be an independent read while students complete projects. 5y
