“The Big Green Pocketbook” was a favorite of mine growing up, good for a RA. This RF story talks about a little girl who received the same matching pocketbook as her mother and the adventures that came out of it. She went into the city with her mom and collected things to put into her pocketbook. DrSpalding Realistic fiction and economics! This is another example how there is a good book to teach about anything! Use books to teach social studies concepts. Kevin Henkel has a great book titled Lilly‘s Purple Plastic Purse that would be a nice text to text connection. 💴 5y
