so-soIt wasn‘t a terrible book but it was pretty boring. It wasn‘t much of a thriller and I thought about not finishing it a few times while reading. It felt like it was written for a younger reader, maybe between 10 and 13 years old. My 13 year old niece was the one who picked it out and I decided to give it a try.
so-soI was obviously not the intended audience for this novel, but quite enjoyed it. The middle school drama slowed it down to me, but a teenager would really enjoy it.
so-soThis YA novel was okay. It was an easy read that didn't take a lot of brain power, but also had some holes in the plot.
The Body In The Woods, chapter 1 to 7. There was a man missing in a park near the woods. So Alexis,Nick and Ruby went to go find body of the missing guy. Alexis and ruby took on one side and then park, nick and walker went to the other half of the park,Ruby got split up with Alexis. So ruby found a random dead body in a bushes looked like she was strangled to death.
panI'm not a big fan of murder mysteries in the first place so I couldn't get into this book. Predictable of course. A good read for people who like murder mysteries, though. That's just not me.
Haven't read too many murder mysteries, but I enjoy this one so far👍📖
so-soI can see potential in the characters, but the plot is seriously something you have to suspend your belief some for. Really, it reads as very young middle grade. I've heard the next book is better.. maybe I'll see.
