I totally bailed on this one. I know I am most certainly not the target audience for this book but the massive exposition dump at the start is inexcusably bad. Not to mention it just has all the tropes; Mary sue, Illuminati, and an irish bar in america hiding magical people and the magic system is just terrible. I just can't!
