If you enjoy children's fantasy books, you need to add Edith Nesbit to your must-read pile. The Magic City is a classic hero story written by "the pioneer of fantasy for children." It's very British, a bit old fashioned, but much worth reading. I look forward to reading more Nesbit soon.
