Defier: The Girl Who Stood | 
so-soI read this book for a junior high literature class I‘m considering teaching next year. It‘s a Christian Young Adult dystopian fiction book and the first of a series. Without a doubt, the book is a fast-paced read, pushing forward the events without little nuances. The characters‘s emotions are stated, not felt. Overall, not a bad read for someone in that age category.
