Of course I read the classics, what do you mean?

I grabbed a few Goosebumps books from the library for nostalgia and I‘m going to let this one fulfill my #finishinaday prompt for #booked2020
The story was alright. Michael‘s sister was honestly the worst - I felt real sympathy for him as she always got him into trouble lol. He ends up cursed and de-aging except it was more time just moved backwards rather than him de-aging in the present year. Still an ok read though
2.5🌟 I loved Goosebumps as a kid, so for a book prompt (read a spooky middle-grade book) I decided to take a trip down memory lane. I didn't remember this book from my youth, and now I see why. It isn't bad, but it doesn't stand out like some of Stine's other books. It is a simple, fun, but predictable, tale that I'm sure kids with bratty siblings can relate too, but it isn't one of the Goosebumps greats.
Taking a trip down memory lane and reading a Goosebumps book. Man, this made me feel old. I remember the days of using encyclopedias for homework.
#28 "Keep your eye on the birdie!"
Michael hates his little sister Tara. She is abusive and mean to him constantly. when his father brings home an antique cuckoo clock his father warns both of the children not to touch it because it was very expensive. But Michael season opportunity to get Terra in trouble for once instead of himself. When he messes with the cuckoo clock he ends up getting trapped in a time warp from hell!

At the library today, down childhood's memory lane; plus seeing what continues to be new in Goosebumps. 🕰 The Cuckoo Clock of Doom has me gearing up my search, for the hopes of getting an old copy of this top favourite. It could be a part of the humour, in an antique style thrift store. 🐤
