pickAn excellent read, especially for fans of this series. This graphic novel reads just like the game plays, and has all of the sardonic humor of the game and what I've read of the first book so far. The art is beautiful, and it's quite satisfying to see Ciri kicking the asses of the assuming men that need it. #witcher #fantasy #transmedia
so-soThe three volumes I read were entertaining and thanks to the fact that I had just finished binge watching the show, I had a go looking for more.
The only thing is that it feels like the comics have no beginning, so the reader is dumped into it so if you know little to nothing, it gets confusing about the world & characters it raises questions.
Overall not bad. A 3 ⭐ read
pickI love this video game, so I decided to try out the graphic novels. I was geeking out when I saw this Stan Sakai variant cover at the end. 💚
The story was good, although I feel I had an advantage from the game. The Witcher finds himself trapped in a House of Glass in the midst of a haunted wood. The use of stained glass to tell the story was a fun touch. I'll definitely read more.
