Before Long John Silver was long, he was Short John Silver. Here‘s one of his adventures. Fast-moving and full of silly puns and bad jokes. Loved the seven seas he had to sail across (the Sea of Stories and the Sea of Colours in particular were fab). Marks knocked off for the peg leg nicknames (I know it‘s a pirate book, but still - perfectly funny without them.)
