pickA lot of Goosebumps books are just silly and formulaic, but these Horrorland ones are a cut above. This is the second book in the series that is actually quite tense with unexpected twists. Admittedly, I am an adult and I don't know why I'm reading these, but they are quite soothing if you want to turn your brain off for a while!
