pickOne cool element of this book was that it was co-written by 4 authors. I couldn‘t tell because the writing was consistent from chapter to chapter. I liked the multiple POVs and the setting of a theater academy where sinister things start to happen. I think the ending could have been a little more satisfying. They left the door open for a sequel but I‘m not sure that was necessary.

If you are looking for 3 days of being taken care of while reading, I highly recommend a reading retreat in the English countryside. We just left it this morning, and it was everything we imagined it would be. They always have an author for dinner one night, and for us it was Sophie Hannah. That was a highlight!! I got this book and we heard all about her writing process, etc. If you‘re considering a reading getaway, totally look into this one.
pickWow what a dark story with some clever twists. The plot built well with lots of drama and kept me guessing for a while about who was behind it. I figured out some things like the truth of Vee but others caught me off guard. The ending was interesting but I wanted a little more resolution to some of it. I like how the story was told by more than one person as it added more depth to the characters. #TeamSlaughter @Clwojick #Netgalley
