I am reading The School for Wives, a comedy Molière wrote in 1663, about an old man who has a young girl brought up in complete ignorance and closely watched in a convent, to ensure that she becomes the ideal wife for him. Obviously, things don‘t go as planned!
catsuit_mango I want to re read molière, as the teenager me and grown up me might have different points of view :) 3y
Dilara @catsuit_mango I last read Molière in high school, and I didn't like it because I found his humour annoying. It's different this time: I can appreciate the language and the satire, even though the stock comedy routines leave me cold. 3y
