THAT didn't turn out how I expected! 😂 Julie disappears and miraculously returns after 2 years. Her long time friends, who've had a funeral for her previously, book a girl's trip to reconnect. Think The Shining, Sex & the City, Evil Dead and An American Werewolf in London all rolled into one. I appreciated the disorientation of the main character along with great horror scenes and some fun dark humor.

IamIamIam @Cinfhen My friend just read it in a few days too. She loved the style! I was more impressed than I expected to be. I'm forever on the hunt for a "freezer book" and this was on a list of scary books. It falls way short of freezer for me but it was a fun ride!!! Lol 5y
