Sunday morning walk over to Cambridge.
Another great Aciman read! In this one, the friendship is explored rather than romantic relationships (though those are in here too).

After reading a bunch of “you‘ve had this for years, why haven‘t you read it yet?†books in January, I read none in February. Trying to get back into the swing of things with this.
While I enjoyed this book, I expected a bit more. The author explores the relationship between two unlikely friends, both immigrants, but with vastly different experiences and world views. Nostalgic memory (and its tendency to be only partially true) plays an important role in the novel. The writing was a bit uneven, though I've heard that Aciman's memoir, Out of Egypt, is well done. I may try that later this year. Overall, glad I read this one.
