Pickpick

The story of Victoria and Albert's marriage and the devastation she felt after his death, as well as how that devastation affected the court and public life in Britain. It is short for a work of history non-fiction but still is a bit repetitive in places. Nevertheless, an interesting read.

Can I nominate Prince Albert for best sidekick? One of those people whose true indispensability is not fully realized until he's no longer there.

I store my bookmarks in a Davids Tea sample box, take new ones from the top and put previously used ones at the bottom to rotate through my stash. One source of bookmarks is books from my parents' place, including ones advertising stores that no longer exist (Pick of the Crop, Oakville ON; and The Book Mark and the World's Biggest Bookstore, Toronto).

rabbitprincess And now my rotation is messed up from digging out samples to put in the photo 😜 9y
