Houellebecq is one of my favourite current French writers. Platform is a story about economics, tourism and sex. And a lot of indiscriminate criticism. His thoughts on Islam for example, are shocking. Because of that I barely dare admit that I liked the book a lot. It is the controversy in combination with a story told by a gifted writer. #1001books Picture: Bali
