The Last Witness | 
pickFinished this audio last Wednesday. It was so creepy but in a good way, not too scary. It's like a myatery/thriller/detective/paranormal/occult/psychological story. The ending was completely shocking to me! Five friends in Scotland go camping for a weekend. But one by one they disappear and Heather thinks it has to do with this broach they took from cairn. Then, she is the only one left and ends up in custody. Will anyone believe her story?
so-soThis book was ok until the ending. Can we just say I didn‘t see that one coming?!? Seriously if you read this, read it for the ending. Otherwise it‘s just a so-so book.

pickA YA thriller that is part psychological/part supernatural. The Ruins meets the Scottish wilderness. 5 teenagers on a camping trip to celebrate one friend's birthday, tensions between them, and a possible cursed brooch found at a burial ground? Fast forward to a year later, when there's only one friend left standing. Is she crazy, like her doctors think, or did something stalk the campers, something not human? I particularly liked the ending!
Finishing up.... possibly while listening to Christmas music and watching the pup play in the first snow of the year!
