I managed to buy only 2 children's books because by the time I got to the section I really had to practice using my blinders 🤪😅. I'm a huge sucker for a great illustrator! While browsing the YA section I realized One, I'm very out of touch with the genre. It has been a long time since my days of steady YA diet. And Two, this trend of covers like 'Flight Season' and 'The Radius of Us' ? I'm HERE FOR IT EVERY DAY. #bookhaul #yabooks

I borrowed this one after seeing it listed as one of Kirkus' starred reviews of 2016. I was a bit skeptical (and tongue-tied) by the modified Boborp language but my 5yo loved it. A strong story about how friends fight and make up. And now we go around saying, "You shmackled my spossip!"
