I really like this book because it can represent a classroom community which will always be a big part of my goals. It relays the message that everyone is different and brings a different skill or mindset that helps build everyone and everything up.

pick5 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 This Caldacott honor book deserves all the praise it has received. We start with a river. Then the bear comes along. Then the Frog, and so on, and so on. Each animal/s helping the other and learning to lean when needed. The Illustrations are amazing. They propel the story and rev the excitement for the big finish. It all blends together beautifully.

As a future educator, I will use this book for an RA that incorporates classroom roles for the students. #UCFLAE3414SP20

It shows children how fun it can be to have others join in no matter their differences. To trust one another and enjoy the ride.The watercolor illustrations are so catching, colorful and bright.
