#QuotsySept18 Day 24: #Punctuation
#MarchIntoReading Day 27 - Canadian Authors
These three ABC hold a special place on my shelves - Margaret Atwood, Joseph Boyden, and Anne Carson
Look. I'm sure this is destined to be one of those books that redefines a genre, one of those books that is destined to be an American classic, one of those books that will be treasured by generations to come. But to read in any order I want, without the safe boundaries of a beginning, middle, and end and two covers to give everything a perfect definition and structure? I can't. I just can't.
I wish I had 20 more brains and 20 more hours a day so that I could read more books at once.
If you know me at all you know why I spent the money I allocated for lunch and dinner on this book. I'll eat Anne Carson's words, I suppose.
One of our best poets. One of our smartest humans. This thing is beautiful. You take it apart and have twenty two chapbooks you can read in any order.
