I really didn't like the ending of this book. I felt like death was the end, and those who have died are still here with us. As a strong christian, I know, and hope that my loved ones have moved on to eternal peace on heaven.

Sad and sweet. A tender tale of friendship and grief. I hate books that manipulate you to cry, and this one felt genuine and heartfelt.
This is a beautiful story based on the lives of two real polar bears, Gus and Ida, and how Gus learns that his love for ida will remain even after she dies. #lovemedo #libraryfind. Sharing this one with my children this week. #heyjune
Geez, I didn't realize this book would make me ugly cry while I was trying to read it to the chicks. It's a great read, and addresses loss in a very child friendly way. Have tissues ready, though-I rarely cry (Nicholas Sparks can't touch this lol) and I was blubbering halfway through.
Went on a bear binge, apparently. Ida ripped my heart to tiny pieces and stomped all over it. It's beautiful!
