Saw this on Facebook & thought it was perfect for todays prompt 😄😄

Well, THIS was an excellent surprise! It's one of those comics that just works, all the way down. Geoff Johns's script is deeply concerned with people who just wanna figure stuff out, and Johns knows when to back off and let Ivan Reis's epic art (inked by Joe Prado) do all the talking. I read it in one sitting, even though I mostly dip in and out of comics these days, and I immediately requested Vol 2.

Aquaman is great! I love how much of the character's mythology makes it into the film, up to and including the Trench from Geoff Johns' New 52 relaunch. This one is worth seeing on the biggest screen available, especially for the third act battle scene.

I enjoyed this title very much. Aquaman always has been a favorite.

Well, who knew Aquaman could be so bad***? There were some genuinely unsettling moments here and I look forward to seeing where the storyline is going to go. Fabulous artwork, too.
