pan"Bartkira" is a collaborative art project to rewrite Karsuhiro Otomo's "Akira" with characters from Matt Groening's "Simpsons." This edition is excerpts from the larger project. The juxtaposition of the horror of the story with the silliness of the Simpsons art style is very funny and the selection of artists is diverse. However, the whole project feels very meme-y and I could not imagine reading the entire project start to finish.
