Sometimes when I'm in a slump, comic books is the best thing! This is the first of 4 books in the Gotham Central which focuses on the detectives in the Gotham Police Department. It's a legitimately great read. Good, rounded characters that you care and root for and some great storylines. And you get a very peripheral Batman in there as well. Recommended for sure! Can't wait for the rest to arrive in the mail so I can read some more.
