Extremely quick and easy read. Story was fast paced and compelling, though definitely had some holes throughout. Just the kind of pick me up I needed for the week I‘ve had.
Intense serious subject matter but well worth the read in this one. Piper and Sanda go through so much in their life that you really feel for them and hope everything goes well. Cheers to Piper for her amazing inner strength. What bothers me a bit was the romance in this one. Didn‘t think it was that necessary considering the seriousness of the book.
Late review! This was by far the most heart aching book I have read. I loved every bit of it. From the characters to the plot. It was dark and broken mixed with hopeful and loving.
"He turns back toward the studio, but I catch the slightest whisper across the darkness between us, "goodnight.""
Not necessarily the most believable plot, but I'm loving the easy read and the soap opera/thriller style. I've been craving some "read it in a day" type books - no mental acrobatics needed and an engrossing story - and this fits the bill.
