Shade of Vampire 6: A Gate of Night | 
Every now and then I'll read a book series that I truly just can't get into, but for some reason can't stop reading. "A Shade of Vampire" series is exactly that way for me. I just think I'm not into the gushy romantic stuff. This book is full of it. I've SLOWLY made my way to book 6 over the past several years.
If you enjoy gushy romance, vampire/human turf wars, and some adventure then you should definitely read this series.
