pickI had a blast at the concert. He put on a fantastic show. I took the book on the off chance I could get it signed. And yes I waved it around like the book nerd I am. I know he saw me. A roadie told me later he isn't much for autographs. The book is interesting and surprisingly well written. The ending was definitely not predictable. It may be the only book I've ever read where a man's woody is a major character. So don't say you weren't warned.
This has been a hard book for me to get into but it has gems sprinkled throughout. This one resonated with me today.
I don't really do concerts. Too many people, generally too loud, we live in the boonies so they mean traveling. However Rick Springfield is coming to a small outdoor venue near me this summer and my husband got me tickets. I'm pretty excited about it. As is the friend I invited. I hope this book is good. Either way I'm bringing it with me in case there is a chance for a meet and greet.
