OMG I love this book! Do not go through life without reading On My Life by Angela Clarke; it is one of the best books out there! A really great insight into UK prison life, a strongly developed main character, it will make you cry, you‘ll be shocked by many twists, and the ending- with what she named her newborn child- made my heart melt.

Mehso-so

Slightly above average crime thriller which sees Jenna accused of killing her fiancé‘s daughter. With a brutal portrayal of the UK prison system & the complete indifference of the system, it was horrifying.

My issue was that the MC was just unbelievably stupid & easily manipulated. The evidence used to put her in prison seemed awfully circumstantial to me. I quickly had the guilty party narrowed to 2 suspects & was right in the end. 3⭐️
