so-soDisclaimer: I listened to this audiobook while in a haze of sickness, sometimes drifting in and out -- not ideal. Still, it was a fun listen. There was lots of Southern charm, and Honeysuckle Hollow had everything from vampires to fairies. Super magical, and I'd say this first book was more about worldbuilding than mystery. I'd sometimes forget someone had been killed, which made the pacing feel off. Even so, it passed the time.
Still sick-audiobooking. My cat seems determined to stop me from crocheting though!
