pickSlim, surrealist novel based on a day in an author‘s life in Syria. It felt so much like Kafka but also seemed inspired by the self-exiled author‘s experiences. I found it fascinating but also tough (oppressive government, male dominated society, so much ego). It left me wondering how much is based on fact? #FoodandLit #Syria
