Like all his friends Giulia is the scion of a wealthy respectable family in an equally rich and respectable provincial town in North Italy. Enrolled at university, but he does not study. His days start late and are filled with shopping and cocktails, endless discos and exclusive private parties. Giulia does not eat, but consumes drugs. It is a race towards self-destruction through the excesses of every kind, leaving a thin margin of hope.
