Cuddled up with a book on a rainy night.
Loved this. LOVE! Although I could hear my own mother in my head while reading this saying her favorite line "Why won't you just listen to me?! I know what's best for you!"

Very cute book, needed something light to read atm, read as a buddy read with the Dragons and Tea book club 😊 4/5
One of my favorite tropes (fake dating), but I was not feeling it. Maybe it needed more plot development? The sub-plot regarding Jake and how brother seems to be random... As in you didn't know Jake has a brother until we learn of this problem. There should have been mentions of him in childhood stories, but they were all Jake and Mia.
I have mixed feelings about this book, I'm at 40% and I don't know if I want to keep reading.
Update: I gave up.
I have seen some mixed reviews about this book, but I really enjoyed it. Mia and Jake has grown up together but can't stand each other. Their mom's think they will be the perfect couple. So they decide to fake date for two weeks so their Mom's will leave them alone about it. But the more they spend time together the more they realize they don't really hate each other!
Today's book mail and bookish sign mail. Damn you Amazon one click buy!!! 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️
I love YA books. But sometimes I read YA books and think I am too old to be reading this book. This is how I felt with Fake It Till You Break It. I think actual young adults would probably really enjoy this book but it just fell a little short for me.
I was provided a copy of this book by the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
