THE SNOW QUEEN joined my Highly Exclusive List of Favourite Books the moment I finished it, but I ran into issues getting THE SUMMER QUEEN. It was this big, complicated thing Litsy's character limit can't support, but it involved library discards and horrifically expensive trade paperbacks.
I did eventually find my own copy (for $2), but last weekend I noticed the library replaced theirs. The intake date is right after I read my hard-won edition.
