Spring Breakers meets Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels on the banks of the Thames in this new graphic novel from Ben Aaronovitch! When two of the less well-behaved River goddesses, Chelsea and Olympia, decide to earn a few quid on the side, Peter and Bev find themselves drawn into a sordid cannabis-smuggling operation, controlled by London's new queenpin of crime - the brutal and beautiful Hoodette!

Still loving the series. In this volume, our detective comes across some weed that makes him not feel all right in the head and starts investigating the source. I absolutely love the two girls in it and how they kicked a$$. Graphics were still wonderful and well done. Looking forward to the next one!

Mehso-so

If you‘re looking for a Rivers of London fix, this is one to borrow not buy: DCI Peter Grant experiences vestigia when hit with a contact high. His investigation leads to a drug ring... But more time is spent on the villain of the piece than on the heroes or their magical skills. And then there‘s the rather disappointing ending of which I‘ll say no more.

Also, I really wanted the cover to glow in the dark (it doesn‘t.)

⭐️⭐️⭐️all for the artwork
