This is my review for an ARC I won from Goodreads a year ago. The writing was beautiful. It didn‘t have anything insightful to say about relationships but it was interesting and entertaining. I‘m counting this for #theunreadshelfproject2019. I‘m also going to be putting this book in the recycling bin. #tbrjarpick
Betrayal. I‘m not far enough in this book yet to know whether betrayal is going to happen but I feel like I know what‘s going to happen based off of what the synopsis says so this book is from the husband‘s point of view and he‘s telling the story of their marriage. It just seems like something isn‘t right. I‘m almost finished but I still want to keep reading so I can find out what happened.
I decided to pick another book out of my #tbrjar just for fun and I like picking books out of the jar. The next book that I chose was...The Story Of A Marriage by Geir Gulliksen. My #tbrjar says to choose a book without looking so I went to my bookshelf with my eyes closed and chose a book without looking at the shelf. That was fun. I also found the book title in my jar. I usually close my eyes when picking from the jar.
Ugh, no. The husband made me sick and the narrator‘s dialect didn‘t do him any favors (the danger of any Norwegian audiobook). I could have lived perfectly happily without this one.
