USA TODAY bestselling author Sheila Roberts takes readers on a wintry trip to the harbor in her latest holiday novel The town of Moonlight Harbor needs to convince tourists that the beach is still the place to beeven when the sunshine goes south for the winter. Jenna Jones, new proprietor of The Driftwood Inn, has the perfect idea: a holiday festival called Seaside with Santa. Jenna is happy to throw herself into planning the event. With all the decorating, preparation and extra reservations at the inn because of the festivaland with two wonderful but very different men hoping to claim more of her time and her heartJenna is busy. Busy, but happy. Even with her troublesome ex in the picture, life feels as close to perfect as shes ever known. Until the weather turns her festival into a farce. Suddenly Mother Nature is not only raining on Jennas parade, the old bats trying to blow the floats and their princesses out to sea. Soon everyone is without power and the road out of town is blocked. And Jenna has a full motel. After the generator conks out, shes not so sure she and her guests will make it through to the New Year in one piece. But with a little pulling together and a lot of holiday spirit, everyone might find that lifeand Christmasis always good at the beach.

I pretty much read this entire book today. It's book 2 in the Moonlight Harbor series (I've already read book 1 and 3). I love this beach town and cast of characters. The whole setting even becomes a character. To bring more tourists and money to Moonlight Harbor, Jenna comes up with the idea of having a Seaside with Santa festival. But it doesn't go exactly as planned. Wonderful read!

Book 2 in series - should be read in order. This one is a little slower than the first book. It has several side stories about hotel guests. I wanted more of Jenna and her two love interest and her relationship with the family. For all that was going on we didn‘t really get much emotion from Jenna. It‘s not much of a romance. It‘s cute though. #readwomen #holidayromance #romantsy

1. I‘ve never had a Christmas away from my parents. Next year might be the year. 2. Seafood for lunch. 3. Go for a swim, have a lie in the sun reading a book and sipping on champagne. 4. Never snows at Xmas in Oz. 5. Whatever someone receives as a present on DVD. Usually a new release. 6. @ReadingDownUnder
