

This was the primary book I read with Maya when she was in elementary school to help with sex ed. When I saw it on the Banned Books list, I decided to reread it. It is hands down my absolute favorite book for kids on the subject, and it's a shame it makes the Top 10 #bannedbooks list. It teaches that some words that go along with “sex“ are respect, trust, joy, and justice. It teaches anatomically correct terms and that these body parts ⬇ ⬇
