5? This really is the first of the novellas to feel like it actually has a conclusion as opposed to "I'm just saving the next sentence for the beginning of the next one." The ending is a bit of a happy one, and I was so happy to read it. I can't wait for the final two novellas (buying the whole series in a single volume was the best move I could have made). So many crazy thing happened in this chunk of the story, but some happy things, too.

And Huw, you're going to have to find another room to sleep in for the rest of the night. Sorry. (Not even remotely sorry.)

@Texreader I'm catching up...unless you finish over the weekend at the lake house. I really hope it's not raining there all weekend, even if it does make for lovely reading weather. We have had enough rain around here lately.

Texreader I think you‘ll like this one! I hope to get to read at the lake. Heading there in the morning. And you‘re right. All this rain; it doesn‘t feel like Texas! 6y
GingerAntics @Texreader at least we're officially out of the drought. All of the rain averages are up. The flooding and washed out roads are a massive problem, though. I need to go to sleep, but I just want to keep going. Suddenly intrigue, Marddin is telling people, he's got a son (although the was the end of the last one)? This whole thing is turning to madness. Why is Arthur being such a jerk to him all of a sudden? Not sure I trust this Gareth, either. 6y
GingerAntics @Texreader wait did Cedric just suggest that Merddin is Arthur's half brother?! I'm never sleeping again, am I? 6y

This series of novellas is set in King Arthur‘s time in Wales (you‘ll see in the historical notes why it‘s set in Wales). Books 1 & 2 each end abruptly and fortunately the cliffhanger story line is resolved in book 3 although the underlying story continues. I wish this were just one book, or two with the break after book 3. Fortunately the 5-ebook series can be bought altogether on Amazon for $7.99. Extremely well written, just oddly broken up.

GingerAntics I‘m hoping to buy the whole 5 novella volume when I get paid. I have to know what happens. Doesn‘t everyone know that Kong Arthur is welsh? I forget sometimes what‘s weird info most people don‘t have and what‘s common knowledge. 6y
Texreader @GingerAntics The historical note is just so excellent going through all of the earliest mentions of Arthur. You‘ll love it 6y
GingerAntics GAH!!! I need to get paid now!!! Okay, 2 more weeks. 6y
