So, today was ‘non-fiction‘ day for me at Harrogate Literary Festival. First up was Travelling Vet, Jonathan Cranston, with his tales ranging from an iguana who swallowed an engagement ring to the much more serious rhino poaching.
This afternoon was Julie Summers with her fascinating tales of how country houses were requisitioned during WW2. She also had two very cute dogs, one of whom was camera shy!
