Didn't think this #BeachRead could be so #ThoughtProvoking.

Violet inherits a pier in a seaside town in England. It used to be her grandmother's, who has been dead for 40 years. Vi moves to the town to reopen the pier, meeting friend and foe alike.

Sitting in the sunshine with an overdue ARC.

This book was published months ago. It's a perfect summer/beach read and I'm only getting to it now.

My day was packed with draining appointments, so I'm indulging in some me time before the kids come home from school.
