Loved the historical details in this one and how her commitment to her career began to clash with her marriage and her husband‘s aspirations. Really added depth to the story. Looking forward to the next entry in the series.

An historical mystery featuring a woman undertaker? Ummm...yes please! I‘ve heard Trent speak a few times, and she‘s quite dynamic and does a lot of research for her books. Fascinating topic, and an interesting read. #BlackIsTheColor #NoFemmeber

All day activities at my library today. First of two authors speaking, Christine Trent, discussing the Necropolis Train in Victorian England. The tagged book is the first in her mystery series about a female undertaker in Victorian England.
#dressesoncovers At first I couldn't find any on my shelves, but then I remembered that I had a few on my Kindle. #readjanuary
#thisshouldbeamovie #seasonsreadings2016 A female undertaker in Victorian London who solves mysteries. If not a movie, at least a television series😄
