The illusion of life: Disney animation | 
panIf you‘re expecting technical animation insights à la Richard Willams‘s book, you‘re going to be disappointed. Illusion of Life is more of a history of Disney Animation Studios in LA, from two of the Nine Old Men. As such it comes from a mostly positive perspective on the studio and Walt himself, not really mentioning the anti-union bit. Perhaps a good supplement to film history, but certainly a biased look. Took me 5 years to read cover-to-cover
