Such a great “conclusion” to the den of shadows series. I‘m pretty sure I‘ve read this at most twice before and I had forgotten how much I loved this. One thing about Atwater-Rhodes YA series (which all take place in the same world) that I love is the cameos. Characters that were mentioned passingly in one book become main characters a couple books later or in a different series. Antagonists become protagonists and vice versa. Love it.

Almost a pick for me, but I didn't care for Brina at all, which is a problem because she's a lead. I liked Xeke so much more! 😩 I would have loved to read more about him. Jay's great, and it's refreshing to see a bisexual lead (or at least a heavily hinted one)! A part of me hopes that this isn't the end of the series because there's so much potential for amazing storylines after that ending!!!
