so-soThis was okay-ish. And if that's not damning with faint praise, I don't know what is! Subject matter is always a favourite of mine but this didn't hit the mark. Found it a little shallow/under-developed in a 'bad YA' kind of way. Characters were a little stereotyped/cliche. Plot was slow & scant, ending twist very predictable. Villain is 2 dimensional, no intriguing complexity to him. Some graphic scenes that seemed gratuitous. Nearly a Pan.
