Cornelia Kidd has written a warm and interesting story of family and community. She takes the story in one direction and once you believe you have figured out whodunnit, the mystery goes a direction you don‘t expect for reasons you never would have guessed. It is well written, the blurbs at the beginning of each chapter were interesting and fun,and the story takes a turn I never expected. The story is an easy cozy read. I would recommend this book.

I really enjoyed this first book in the series! The setting was very relaxing. It takes place in Maine.

Another aspect that I liked was that the main character is married with a child. I haven‘t read many cozy mysteries where the main character is married.

Every chapter started off with a helpful tidbit of information.

I enjoyed this novel and will certainly be reading the rest of the series, as well as other books from this author!
