When Elena sacrificed herself to save the two vampire brothers who love her the handsome, brooding Stefan and the sleek and dangerous Damon she was consigned to a fate beyond death. Until a powerful supernatural force pulled her back. Now Elena is not just human. She has powers and gifts that were bestowed on her in the afterlife. I love the Vampire Diaries! I have been binge watching it recently. My favorite #vampire show. I also want to mention #twilight because that book saga has a special place in my heart because it is what got me back into reading and it got me to love vampires and who knows if we would have the vampire diaries without it #fallisbooked

TBR pile question: a book series you probably won‘t buy the rest of?
I read these in high school. The red books r written by ghost writers 4 some reason smith couldn‘t finish writing them. (She did release ebooks 2 finish but I never looked) when I learned this I just didn‘t want to finish them. My teenage heart was so upset 😩😂
I remember people were upset & angry they took her book away but I never investigated enough to know the actual reason.

Ash.on.the.line I bought the red ones before I knew about it. I stopped after I looked up something about the books. I really don‘t know why, but at the time I was furious. Maybe one day I‘ll look this up and maybe read the ebooks version and even the ghost writers version. Who knows?? 🤔😂 7y
CarolynM At the risk of infuriating a lot of people, I stopped reading the Outlander series part way through the second novel. The end of the first one had put me off quite a lot and the second just didn't do enough to draw me back in 7y
CrowCAH Wow I didn‘t know the spin off series books were written by ghost writers! I haven‘t finished the spinoff books, but they read as the original series did. 7y

Ash.on.the.line @CrowCAH I think they did as well. As an emotional teenager at the time I was just upset lol. I would probably still read them. 7y
persephone1408 I do know that I read the first four books but I can't finish the 5th. I got a little ways in & never went back🤷🏻 I already have all of them tho cause my step Mom got them all for me for Christmas cause I was so obsessed with the show. 4y

maich @swatreads It's different from books. Only few names are the same. I love the show and it's my favourite. But books are so-so. ? I'm in love with Damon and "Hello brother" team. I really miss this two guys? 7y
