Okay book about a wreck in the 1800‘s and the lone survivor. Takes awhile to get going.

Pickpick

Definite pick!! If you enjoy survival tales or maritime history, this one is a stand-out. A shipwreck of the John Rutledge carrying Irish immigrants in 1856. One survivor. Fascinating tale of the conditions of immigration in the 1850s and a harrowing story of survival at sea.

Reviewsbylola Oh this sounds great! 7y
ErickaS_Flyleafunfurled @Reviewsbylola I liked it - there‘s a lot of background about the shipping industry at that time, but it‘s all interesting and not bogged down in irrelevant biographical details like I see in a lot of books like this 7y
