Pickpick

I have to say although I'm fatigued by most historical fiction books as of late set during WWII I will say this was emotional and well-written. This does have two timelines but not in a way that jarring. A little romance, some female empowerment (a war hospital run completely by females) and complex but engaging characters and voila.

But since the snow is softly falling here ❄☃️❄ maybe a winter themed book would be best??

#seasonsreadings2016 #day23 #redsandgreens Mr Darcy,Snow Hunk is watching over this very Xmassy stack of books with the aid of some candy canes. This one was a bit easier, red spines are plentiful in my library, though green was a bit harder. 2 more sleeps till Xmas! BTW, a tip for leftover candycanes is to smash them up and fold them through some good quality vanilla bean or even chocolate icecream to make peppermint crisp or choc candy flavor.
