My daughter and I enjoyed the Disney movie years ago. I found this at a library sale for 25 cents and grabbed it. My 15 yr old daughter enjoyed it so much she asked me to read it. I read quite a bit of it while I was at the lake yesterday. (I was the parent who took my daughter and her small group there to work on a mocumentary.)
Clever dialogue, characters I cared about and sweet resolution to the story.
⭐⭐⭐.5
I really liked that this wasn't a typical YA book where the boy and girl get together. It's a story about the unlikeliest of friends and they rough it through the drama of high school together. It's a great break from the "normal" story.
I don't want to pick so-so but it's also not on my list of "YOU HAVE TO READ THIS!!"
